Acupuncture

Is the use of fine single use needles that are inserted into specific Acupuncture points on the body. Stimulating these points changes physiology and regulates the body functions towards healing.

Acupressure

Acupressure

Is a hands-on therapy combing massage techniques with stimulus on the acupoints by applying pressure with the fingertips, thumbs, hands, or elbow. Teaching acupressure for use during labour is an example of this.

Moxibustion

Is the use of Artemesia Vulgaris a herb which is burnt near the skin, on the needles, in a box or over the skin, often on ginger or a herbal paste. This heat transfers down the needle into the point and surrounding tissues creating warmth.

Cupping

Is the use of solidly made glass suction cups which are placed on the body to improve circulation in a local area unblocking and softening muscle tightness.
